This month, a disturbing study on tampons was published and was widely reported in the global media.
The headline was “Metals, including lead and mercury, found in 100% of tampon samples.”
“New study finds 16 types of metals in 30 tampons from different manufacturers sold in the United States and Europe, raising concerns among consumers.”
The question asked at the end of one of the media articles;
Does this mean it is absorbed into the body? It is a question that indicates ignorance or simply a multiplicity of interests.
It is clear that it is absorbed into the body, if our skin cells have pores that absorb what do you think is happening in the most delicate area of a woman’s body?
The conclusion of the study’s publishers is “There is nothing to worry about, it is better not to sleep with a tampon in at night.” What?
Is there anything more disrespectful of human intelligence?
They present a study that should shock and infuriate every woman and man in this world, but the conclusion, because it is impossible, God forbid, to hurt sales, is, continue to use your common sense.
The average woman will use 7,000 tampons in her life.
That means that all the toxins found in the product will enter her bloodstream.
Now why does this seem challenging to solve? Because since a woman gets her period, entire industries have been manipulating them and convincing them that there is only one way to deal with menstruation – consumer products.
And this happens with most products aimed at both women and men:
Care products, creams, cosmetics, makeup, perfume and more and more.
They are all saturated with endocrine disruptors that enter the system.
This is the most toxic time in the history of humanity and it is crazy because women are mainly trying to balance their hormones.
What can be done?
First of all, open your mind to other, much more ideal options for dealing with menstrual blood and discharge during the month. Just because it’s not marketed in advertisements, or maybe it’s considered less aesthetic or sexy to others, doesn’t mean their ignorance should make it true in your life.
What’s the alternative to tampons? Period underwear?
What’s the alternative to industrial care products? Natural creams, oils, and the like – or, I know it sounds shocking – nothing.
You don’t need anything beyond good nutrition.
In order for toxins to not accumulate in the body, you need to support the system more than anything with nutrition, movement, detoxification through sweating, exercise, saunas, and sun exposure.
Quite a few studies have found chemicals in menstrual blood:
Pesticides, BPA, plastics, phthalates – that’s why it’s so important to cleanse the body.
Menstruation is the body’s cleansing process, and if you don’t have a (real) period, you’re giving up a natural function of your body that’s beneficial to your health.
A few more things you can do to detoxify:
Good nutrition.
Supervised water or juice fasts that lead to faster metabolism and detoxification.
A good night’s sleep is responsible for cleansing the liver – it is recommended not to go to bed after 11:00 PM.
Exercise helps to circulate the blood and cleanse the body of toxins through sweat.
It is not for nothing that we created the Women’s Health Course.
In a world where the female mind is disrupted through ideas created by men,
